DazzBet.com earns a commission when readers open an account through links on this page. It does not change the price you pay, and it does not decide which sportsbooks we rate well. Our tips and ratings are written before any commercial arrangement is considered.

Two free football selections every weekday and three at the weekend, each with the match, the market, the odds we took and the stake. Nothing is added after kick-off and nothing is removed after it loses.

About The Odds

The odds shown are the ones available when the selection was written. Odds move constantly, so check the current odds at your betting site before backing anything. If the odds have shortened past the value that justified the bet, the selection is no longer the same bet and the sensible move is to leave it.

Recently Settled

The last ten settled selections, graded automatically against the final score. Profit is measured in units, where one unit is a single flat stake.

How Our Betting Tips Are Built

Most tipping sites start with the fixture list. They look at which matches are on, decide which ones they have a feeling about, and write the selection afterwards. We work the other way around, and the difference matters more than it sounds.

Every morning the day’s fixtures across dozens of competitions are pulled with the full market board attached. Before any of that is read as football, it is read as arithmetic. Odds of 2.00 say the market thinks the outcome happens half the time. Odds of 1.50 say it happens two thirds of the time. We strip the bookmaker’s margin out of those odds to get the market’s own estimate of every outcome, then rank every market on the day by how likely it is to land, inside an odds band we set in advance. The likeliest outcomes inside that band become candidates. We do not claim to know better than the market, and the public record below is the test of whether the discipline pays.

Candidates then pass through filters that have nothing to do with football and everything to do with not publishing nonsense. Youth sides, women’s and reserve fixtures, club friendlies and minor state leagues are excluded, because nobody can price them properly. The odds are also re-checked just before publication, and a selection whose odds have moved out of the band is dropped. Exchange lay odds are not odds you can take, so they never enter the pool. A market where the implied probabilities add up to well over one hundred percent is a thin market, and thin markets are where bad selections hide.

Why The Margin Filter Matters

Add up the implied probability of every outcome in a market and you get a number above one. That excess is the bookmaker’s margin, and it is the price of doing business. On a major league match at a competitive book it sits somewhere near five percent. On an obscure fixture it can reach twelve.

The practical effect is brutal. A bettor who is genuinely skilled might beat the true probabilities by three or four percent over a long run. If the margin is five, that skill produces a small profit. If the margin is twelve, the same skill loses. This is why we reject any market where the margin runs above nine percent, and why we would rather publish nothing on a Tuesday than publish something at poor odds.

The Odds Band

Selections are only published between 1.35 and 2.10. This is a deliberate constraint and it costs us the two things that make tipster pages look impressive.

  • It rules out short favourites at 1.25, which win often and inflate a strike rate while barely moving the units column
  • It rules out long shots at 6.00, which produce spectacular screenshots on the rare day they land and silence on the other forty
  • It leaves a range where each win pays enough to matter and each loss is still an ordinary, realistic outcome rather than a shock

The consequence is a record that moves slowly in both directions. Nobody is going to screenshot our Tuesday. That is the trade we have chosen.

The Markets We Publish

Six markets appear on this page, and each one behaves differently. Understanding which is which will tell you more than any individual selection ever will.

01

Match Result, 1X2

Home win, draw or away win over ninety minutes plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalties do not count, which surprises people during cup competitions.

02

Over And Under Goals

Over wins if the match total goes above the line, under wins if it stays below. We use 1.5, 2.5 and 3.5, all half lines, so the bet is always decided.

03

Both Teams To Score

Each side must find the net at least once. A 4-0 loses a yes bet just as surely as a 0-0 does, which catches people out.

04

Draw No Bet

Back one team to win and get your stake back if the match is drawn. The odds are shorter than a straight win, in exchange for taking the draw out of play.

05

Asian Handicap

A head start or a deficit applied to the final score. Georgia +1 means a win or a draw pays, a one goal defeat returns the stake and a bigger defeat loses. Half lines such as -0.5 or +1.5 always produce a winner.

06

Double Chance

Two of the three match outcomes at once, home or draw, or away or draw. It looks safer than it is, and the next section explains why.

Double Chance, And Why It Is Not A Safe Bet

Double Chance covers two of the three match outcomes at once. Home or draw, away or draw, or either team to win. It feels safer, and in one narrow sense it is, because two thirds of the results now pay.

The catch is that the odds fall to match. A team at 2.60 to win outright might be 1.45 to win or draw, and at 1.45 the bet needs to land nearly seventy percent of the time simply to break even. Safety and value are not the same thing, and a lot of losing bettors have discovered that the hard way.

We publish Double Chance when the underlying three way market makes the derived odds generous rather than protective. It is one market among six, not a default.

What Following This Page Gives You

  • Every selection timestamped before kick-off, with the odds we took
  • Losses published in the same table as wins, graded by machine
  • A stake on every pick, so the record can actually be measured
  • Odds taken from a competitive book rather than a thin one
  • A method written out in enough detail that you can argue with it

What It Does Not Give You

  • A large volume of tips, since two a day is the weekday norm
  • Every competition in the world, since we only use those with deep bookmaker coverage
  • Short favourites that make a strike rate look better than it is
  • Guaranteed winners, because no such thing exists at any price
  • The exact odds you will find, since odds move after publication

The Leagues We Cover

The rotation is wide: the major European leagues, the Nations League and other international fixtures, MLS, the Brazilian and Argentine top flights and the stronger second divisions. A competition only appears if bookmakers price it deeply, and the Brazilian season deserves a word of explanation.

European football stops. From late May until the middle of August the major leagues are dark, and most tipping sites either go quiet or start inventing content about friendlies and youth tournaments. The Brazilian season runs from April to December, straight through that gap, and its top flight is a serious competition with deep bookmaker coverage.

There is a second reason, less romantic. Odds in Serie A and the Premier League are extremely efficient because enormous volumes of money are matched on them. South American football attracts less of that money, and less money means slightly looser odds. If an edge exists anywhere in a modern betting market, it is more likely to be there than in a Saturday three o’clock at Old Trafford.

A Word On Coverage

Depth beats breadth. We would rather cover fewer competitions properly than skim every one, and a competition only joins the rotation once its markets are deep enough to trust and its results settle cleanly against the feed.

How To Use These Tips

A tip is a starting point, not an instruction. What you do with it decides whether following any tipster is worth your time.

  1. Check The Odds FirstIf the odds at your betting site are materially shorter than the ones listed, skip the selection rather than take the worse number. The bet was justified at 1.90 and may not be at 1.65.
  2. Stake The Same Every TimeOne flat unit on every pick, regardless of how certain a selection feels. Confidence is the least reliable signal in betting and it is at its worst just before a losing run.
  3. Set The Unit Before You StartOne percent of a bankroll you have decided in advance to risk. If that bankroll is three hundred, a unit is three, and it stays three through a bad month.
  4. Judge Over MonthsA handful of selections tells you nothing at all. Look at the running total after several hundred bets, not after a weekend that went well.
  5. Ignore The Strike Rate On Its OwnSixty percent at short odds can still lose money and forty percent at bigger odds can be comfortably profitable. Units won is the number that matters.
  6. Keep Your Own RecordLog every wager, including the ones placed on instinct rather than from this page. Most people remember their winners with remarkable clarity and forget everything else.

What The Record Actually Means

Anyone can post a winning slip. The hard part, and the part most tipping sites avoid, is publishing every selection including losers and letting the arithmetic speak for itself.

That is why settlement here is automated. When a match finishes, the final score is pulled from the same data feed that provided the odds, the selection is graded against it, and the running total moves. The grading runs every hour and nobody reviews it first. There is no editorial step between a loss happening and a loss appearing on this site. The one exception is a cup tie decided in extra time or on penalties: our bets settle on the ninety minutes, so those are checked by hand before they are graded.

Read the resulting numbers with proper expectations. A strike rate of sixty percent sounds impressive until you notice it was achieved at odds of 1.40, at which point it is a losing strategy. Conversely a run at forty five percent in our published band is comfortably profitable. Judge any tipster, this one included, on units rather than winners, and over hundreds of selections rather than dozens.

Losing runs are not a malfunction. Eight or ten consecutive losers will happen to every honest tipster who publishes in this odds range, and it says nothing whatever about whether the method works. What it does test is your staking discipline. Flat stakes and a bankroll set aside deliberately will carry you through. Chasing will not, and if that urge feels familiar, our page on responsible gambling is worth five minutes of your time.

Signs Of A Tipster Worth Reading

  • Publishes losses in the same place and the same format as wins
  • Shows the odds taken at the time, not the best odds available afterwards
  • States a stake on every selection rather than leaving it vague
  • Reports results in units rather than in money or percentages alone
  • Has a record long enough to be meaningful, not a good fortnight
  • Explains the method well enough that you could disagree with it

Who Writes These Tips

The football card is compiled by Marcus Rennard, who spent his working life as an odds compiler before moving to this side of the screen. That background is the reason this page reads matches through the odds first and the team news second, and it is also the reason the filters above exist at all. Somebody who has set odds for a living knows exactly where a bad one hides.

Delia Okonkwo covers basketball and tennis, working from models rather than form guides and talking in sample sizes rather than momentum.

The selections are checked against the published method rather than against a hunch, and the settlement process removes the person from the result entirely. You can read more about the team on our tipsters page, including who covers what and how each of them works.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Time Are The Tips Published?

The card is topped up at 08:00 CET each morning and every selection is timestamped before the first kick-off involved. Kick-off times on this page are shown in central European time.

Why Are There Only Two Or Three Free Tips A Day?

Because two is how many selections we are willing to stand behind on a normal weekday. Saturdays and Sundays carry a fuller fixture list, so there are three. The Verified card covers a wider slate, but padding this page with markets we do not believe in would make it worth less, not more.

Which Leagues Do You Cover?

The major European leagues, the Nations League and other international fixtures, MLS, the Brazilian and Argentine top flights and other competitions with deep bookmaker coverage. The South American calendar runs through the European summer, so the card stays alive in June when most tipping sites go quiet.

Where Should I Place These Bets?

Anywhere you already hold an account. If you do not have one, our betting site reviews cover the two operators we use ourselves, judged on payout speed and how they treat winning accounts rather than on the size of the welcome offer.

Why Do Your Odds Differ From The Ones I See?

Because odds move, sometimes within minutes of publication. The odds here are a record of what was available when the selection was made, not a promise about what you will find. Treat any significant difference as a reason to skip the bet.

Are The Results Ever Edited?

No. Selections are graded from the final score by an automated settler and losses are published exactly like wins. Nobody here can delete a bad week, which is the entire point of publishing a record at all.

Do I Have To Pay For Anything?

Not for the selections on this page, which are free and will stay free. We earn a commission when a reader opens an account through one of our links, explained in full on our affiliate disclosure page. It costs you nothing extra and it does not decide which selections appear here.

Want The Full Daily Card?

Verified adds further selections each day with wider market coverage and a recommended stake on every pick, settled the same public way.
