DazzBet.com earns a commission when readers open an account through links on this page. It does not change the price you pay, and it does not decide which sportsbooks we rate well. Our tips and ratings are written before any commercial arrangement is considered.

This policy explains what DazzBet.com collects when you visit, why it is collected, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read rather than skimmed, so it is shorter than most.

Who Runs This Site

DazzBet.com is an independent betting tips and review site. We are the data controller for information collected here. If you have a question about your data, or want a copy of it or want it deleted, write to us at our contact page and we will respond within thirty days.

What We Collect

We collect very little, because we do not run accounts, take payments or hold balances. In practice there are three categories.

  • Analytics data. Pages you visited, roughly where in the world you were, which device and browser you used, and how you arrived. This is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
  • Information you send us. If you email us or use a contact form, we hold your message and your email address for as long as it takes to deal with it.
  • Technical logs. Our host records IP addresses and requests for security and troubleshooting. These rotate out automatically.

We do not collect payment details, identity documents or betting histories. Anything of that kind you provide goes to the betting site you signed up with, never to us.

Cookies And Tracking

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them for two things: to understand how the site is used, and to record that you arrived at a betting site through one of our links so that the operator credits us with the referral. That second one is what pays for the site.

You can refuse non-essential cookies through the banner shown on your first visit, and you can clear or block cookies entirely in your browser settings. Nothing on this site stops working if you do, though our analytics will not see you.

Third Parties

Some data reaches companies other than us. Our analytics provider processes visit data on our behalf. Our host processes requests to serve pages. The betting sites we link to set their own cookies once you land on them, and from that moment their privacy policy applies rather than ours. We would encourage you to read it before you register.

We do not sell personal data. We have never done so and there is no arrangement under which we would.

How Long We Keep Things

Analytics data is retained in aggregated form for up to twenty six months. Emails are kept for as long as the conversation is live and then deleted. Server logs rotate within a few weeks. Nothing is kept indefinitely.

Your Rights

If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or another region with comparable law, you can ask us for a copy of any personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how it is used. Because we hold so little, most of these requests are quick to satisfy.

You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority if you think we have handled something badly. We would rather you told us first, but the option is yours.

Children

This site is intended for adults of legal betting age in their own country, which is eighteen in most places and twenty one in some. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone below that age. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

When this policy changes we update the date below rather than emailing anyone, because we have no mailing list to email. Substantial changes will be flagged on the site itself.
